I have 15 years of experience of photography as an art and as a tool and went to school for it in 2007 . Before that in 2001, I started working with photography at a small agency from my hometown. We did lifestyle, product and fashion photography. Photography has always been in my life. When I was a kid, my father used to own a photography shop where I got very familiar with cameras from an early age.
Retouching photos
So, my first job in that agency back in 2001 was to take the background of 100+ headshots for ID photos with Photoshop 6.0. In the same year I started experimenting with digital montage and retouching, the goal was to make it look too obvious.
With the development of my freelance work in 2009 I started working with more complex projects for product and fashion photography, which required a very clean finish. My clients were always very pleased with the professional look. Anyways I believe if it can be fixed on set it’s less time on post production.
